What We See, What We Sense.

Mia-Nelle Drøschler blends the figurative with the abstract. She does not believe in a separation between what we can recognize and what we can feel or sense. Everything is connected. Some works contain distinct figures—a table, a face, an owl, a chair where something begins to sprout. Even what appears still is alive. Other paintings feel like memories held in the body rather than seen with the eyes—situated on the threshold between dream, nature, and inner movement.
